《神奇的毛線》冷冷的小鎮上，放眼望去，只見一片白茫茫的雪和黑漆漆的煤灰。一個冷冷的下午，小女孩安娜意外發現一個裡面裝滿彩色毛線的盒子，她為自己和小狗火星各織了一件毛衣，不過織完以後，卻發現到毛線竟然用不完。於是，她繼續織著，為鄰居、爸媽、同學、老師，以及鎮上的每個人織起彩色毛衣和帽子。但奇怪的是，不管安娜織了多少件，毛線還是用不完。安娜開始幫森林裡的動物、路上的電線桿、甚至為卡車和房子織毛衣。
後來，安娜和神奇毛線的故事傳開了，人們從世界各地到小鎮來看毛衣和安娜。有一天，一位王子想出高價向安娜買毛線，但小女孩不為所動，王子竟雇人把盒子偷走！但沒想到，王子打開盒子，卻發現裡面什麼也沒有！他氣得把盒子丟掉，並且詛咒安娜永遠不會快樂。這盒看似平凡無奇的毛線，到底有什麼神奇的力量？安娜還能繼續保持樂觀，快快樂樂的編織毛衣嗎？
On a cold, dark day in a dull, grey town, little Annabelle discovers a box of brightly coloured yarn. She knits a cosy jumper to keep herself nice and toasty warm and finds, to her surprise, that she still has yarn left over. So she decides to knit her dog a jumper too but - hang on a second - she STILL has extra yarn!
Annabelle knits and knits and, soon, sheˊs blanketed the entire town in a rainbow of colour, knitting away the dreary iciness that grips it. Her prodigious status spreads far and wide. It doesnˊt take long for the evil Archduke to set his beady eyes upon Annabelleˊs magical box of yarn but, little does he know, you have to have a little bit of magic inside your heart for it to work...
