主角「我」是國二生，因為斜視的關係，時常遭到班上同學二宮和百瀨一夥人殘暴地霸凌；另一個女同學小島，則因頭髮油膩、全身散發臭味而被排擠欺負。兩個人同是被霸凌的對象，當小島開始傳紙條給他，兩人會私下碰面談天，分享彼此生活，他逐漸把小島當成唯一的朋友。
