作者介紹
Jeffrey Geiger (Ph.D., University of California, Los Angeles) teaches at the University of Essex, where he established the Centre for Film Studies. He is the author of Facing the Pacific: Polynesia and the U.S. Imperial Imagination (2007) and American Documentary Film: Projecting the Nation (2011). He has co-edited, with Karin Littau, Cinematicity in Media History (2013).
R. L. Rutsky (Ph.D., University of California, Los Angeles) teaches in the Cinema Department at San Francisco State University. He is the author of High Technè: Art and Technology from the Machine Aesthetic to the Posthuman (1999), and co-editor of Strategies for Theory: From Marx to Madonna (2003) and Consumption in an Age of Information (2005).
