HELEN FROST is the author of many award-winning books for children and young adults, including: Diamond Willow, The Braid, Crossing Stones, Hidden, Salt, When My Sister Started Kissing, Blue Daisy, Applesauce Weather, All He Knew. She is the recipient of a 2009-2010 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry, and has won the Scott O'Dell Award, The Lee Bennett Hopkins Award, and the Children's History Book Prize. She lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
