「居家隔離」14天 (a 14-day self-isolation at home) 用於與確診病例接觸者，主管機關會開立「居家隔離通知書」，隔離期間須待在家中或指定地點不外出，不得搭乘大眾運輸工具，亦不得出境。監測方式由衛生主管機關每天追蹤2次健康狀況以手機電子監控，如於隔離期間出現症狀，將由衛生主管機關安排就醫。若未配合隔離措施，主管機關將依法裁罰，並於必要時強制隔離。
「居家檢疫」14天 (a 14-day home quarantine) 用於具中港澳旅遊史者，衛生主管機關會開立「旅客入境健康聲明暨居家檢疫通知書」，居家檢疫期間須待在家中或指定地點不外出，不得搭乘大眾運輸工具，亦不得出境。監測方式由里長或里幹事每天撥打電話詢問健康狀況，並且記錄1至2次，以手機電子監控。如於檢疫期間出現症狀，將送至指定醫療機構採檢送驗。若民眾未配合檢疫措施，主管機關將依法裁罰，並於必要時強制隔離。
「自主健康管理」(self-health monitoring) 用於通報個案經檢驗呈陰性，並符合解除隔離條件者，以及因特殊情形申請赴港澳獲准者。自主健康管理期間請自主避免外出，如不得已外出應全程配戴外科口罩，每日早晚各量1次體溫。
