104 學年度科技校院四年制與專科學校二年制英文科考題出處及評析

台灣多年來考試領導教學,因此考過的題目往往會成為教材,社會大眾也也不去細究裡面的英文是否都是地道的講法。為免學校、補習班以訛傳訛,把考題當成範本來教學,我們針對今年科技校院四年制與專科學校二年制統測英文試題,循例仔細檢查,發現有以下問題。

第一部分:選擇題( 80分)

I. 字彙題:第1 至6題,每題均有一空格,請在選項中擇一最適合的答案,以完成該句。第7 至10題,每題均有一個劃底線的字,請在選項中擇一與該劃底線字意最接近的答案。

1. Thank you very much for helping me_________ my bicycle yesterday. You really gave a hand.
(A) remind   (B) repair   (C) revise   (D) repeat

語意不明,也許是 “you really have a hand”的誤植。若是稱讚人家有雙巧手,則可以說: “you’re really handy”。
